The Maly Theatre will have a change in its repertoire: instead of the play «It Shines, But Doesn't Warm», viewers will be able to enjoy the production «Wedding, Wedding, Wedding!»
On October 30, the Maly Theatre will have a change in its repertoire: instead of the play "It Shines, But Doesn't Warm", the play "Wedding, Wedding, Wedding!" will be presented on stage. This production, based on the famous vaudevilles by Anton Pavlovich Chekhov, "The Bear" and "The Proposal", will give the audience an evening filled with humor and lightness.
The Maly Theater, located in the historical center of Moscow, is known for its classical productions and high level of acting. The play "Wedding, Wedding, Wedding!" is designated by the theater as "joke scenes", which implies lightness and ease in the presentation of the material. The plot centers on the theme of marriage, presented through two stories. The first is a story about how a mercantile conflict almost destroyed future happiness in the work "The Proposal". The second is about how a monetary claim unexpectedly turns into a marriage proposal in the vaudeville "The Bear".
These works by Chekhov, full of irony and subtle humor, allow you to look at serious marital problems through the prism of comedy. The performance will be a great opportunity to smile and enjoy the skill of the Maly Theatre actors.
Spectators wishing to attend this event can buy tickets for the performance "Wedding, Wedding, Wedding!" on our website.
