The play "How Life Is-How It Can Be" at the N. P. Akimov Comedy Theater is a heartfelt story about family ties and the importance of connections between generations. The production, based on the play by Yulia Tupikina, invites the audience to immerse themselves in the world of Olga, a 30-year-old careerist from Moscow, whose measured life is turned upside down by the arrival of her grandmother Marya Vasilyevna from a distant Siberian village.
Ba, as her granddaughter affectionately calls her, is a charismatic and multifaceted character. She is not only witty and cheerful, but also persistently interferes in Olga's life, striving to return family traditions and comfort. With her appearance in the house, changes begin: the boyfriend is kicked out, noisy holidays are organized, and all this for the sake of the granddaughter finding the "right" groom.
The play raises important questions about the meaning of family roots and the need to remember your past. This is a story that makes you think about the values that we pass on from generation to generation.
