On January 23, the Alexandrinsky Theatre will host a unique event - the Performance Project "Black Square". Act III. "Night" based on the story by V. M. Garshin. This is a continuation of the series of performance readings created in honor of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Vs. E. Meyerhold. The event will take place at one of the most prestigious theater venues in St. Petersburg, famous for its history and architectural beauty.
The Black Square project is a synthetic performance that combines classical text with choreography, electronic music and media art. Each element of the performance is created in improvisation mode, which makes each performance unique and unrepeatable. The audience becomes an active participant in what is happening, influencing the development of events with the help of a special cube that offers six different directions.
The previous acts of the project included readings of works by A.S. Pushkin and F.M. Dostoevsky. In this act, attention will be focused on the story "Night" by Vsevolod Garshin, which will complete the "night" triptych. This piece will be the culmination of the series, exploring themes that are close to every viewer.
Don't miss the opportunity to be part of this unique performance. Buy tickets on our website and immerse yourself in an atmosphere of creativity and innovation.
