The opera «The Night Before Christmas» invites viewers to plunge into the atmosphere of magic and comedy adventures at the Shostakovich Philharmonic. The production of the St. Petersburg theater «Replika» is based on the story by N. V. Gogol and the opera «Cherevichki» by P. I. Tchaikovsky. Viewers will be transported to the village of Dikanka during the time of Catherine II, where the blacksmith Vakula strives to win the heart of the beautiful Oksana. 

The performance features talented performers: Daria Gavrilova as Oksana, Nikita Chernikov as Vakula, Olga Shokel as Solokha and other outstanding artists. Musical accompaniment is provided by Alexander Kashpurin on piano and Grigory Tadtayev on violin, under the direction of accompanist Natalia Lisanova.
