This project is a study of the sound landscape of the famous play "Masquerade" based on the drama by M. Yu. Lermontov, which became the last performance of Imperial Russia, presented during the days of the February Revolution.

The original production by Meyerhold featured music by the outstanding composer Alexander Glazunov. As part of the concert "Masquerade. Deconstruction", the organizers invited academic and electronic musicians to reassemble Glazunov's tracks. Their task is to disassemble the structure of the original numbers, penetrating their musical DNA, and reassemble them using modern electronic instruments and new knowledge of composition.
