The performance “Tales of Pushkin”, presented at the Alexandrinsky Theater, is dedicated to the 225th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian poet A.S. Pushkin. The main performer and author of the literary composition is People's Artist of Russia Igor Volkov. He also acts as the director of the production, which emphasizes his multifaceted talent and deep understanding of Pushkin's poetry.

The performance is based on Pushkin’s famous works, such as “The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish,” “The Tale of the Priest and His Worker Balda.” and the prologue of the poem “Ruslan and Lyudmila”. The video of the performance will be accompanied by illustrations by I.Ya. Bilibin, which will add visual depth and historical authenticity to the production.
