The play “The Young Lady” at the Alexandrinsky Theater is a production of the National Theater of Republika Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina). The basis for the performance was the novel by Ivo Andric. The dramatization was carried out by Vanya Yeidus. The performance is performed in Serbian with subtitles in Russian, which allows the Russian-speaking audience to fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the work.
The play features famous actors: Sladjana Zrnic as the young lady, Natasa Ivancevic as the mother and narrator, Snezana Misic plays the roles of Jovanka, the lady in the hat, relative and narrator. Musical accompaniment is provided by the artists of the Symphony Orchestra of the National Theater of the Republika Srpska: Anastasia Arsenic (violin) and Marko Kovacic (double bass).
