The play "The Man from Dublin" is a free stage composition based on modernist prose of the early 20th century and other sources. The main character, a man from Dublin, is in a state of physical and mental escape from the surrounding reality. His desire to comprehend the Truth becomes the central theme of the production, which gives it a philosophical and metaphysical character.
Staging by Andrei Kalinin, known for his previous works at the Alexandrinsky Theater, such as “What sadness, the end of the alley”, “Comrade Kislyakov” and "Borkman", promises to be no less impressive. Kalinin is famous for his unique approach to directing, which makes his performances popular and interesting for a wide audience.
The Alexandrinsky Theater provides a high level of comfort for spectators. The halls are equipped with modern sound and lighting systems, which create ideal conditions for immersion in the atmosphere of the performance. Security measures are also provided, which is especially important nowadays.
