Ivan Volkov

Ivan Nikolaevich Volkov is a renowned Russian actor and composer whose creative work spans both the stage and screen. He was born on August 14, 1974, in Leningrad and showed a passion for art from a young age. In 1997, Ivan completed his studies in the acting department of the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS) under the mentorship of A.V. Borodin, after which his career began to flourish.

Volkov began his professional career at Vyacheslav Polunin's Clown Theatre, later joining the legendary Sovremennik Theatre. In 2020, he joined the Alexandrinsky Theatre company, and in 2024, he joined the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre. His debut as Andrei Prozorov in the production of "Three Sisters" was a significant event in the theatrical community.

In addition to acting, Ivan is actively involved in music. He composes musical compositions for films and plays, and is also a member of the spasm orchestra "Root of the Nine," performing with his brother Dmitry Volkov and Mikhail Shklovsky.
