Vladimir Yumatov is an outstanding Russian actor whose career spans decades and many theater stages. Born in Moscow in 1951 into a family of actors, Yumatov showed an interest in art from an early age. His path began with a passion for music and theater, which led him to the Moscow Military Music School. After serving in the army, Vladimir Sergeevich graduated from the Philosophy Department of Moscow State University, becoming a candidate of philosophical sciences. However, his love for the theater did not fade, and he began his acting career at the Moscow State University Student Theater under the direction of Roman Viktyuk.

Since 1983, Vladimir Yumatov has become an integral part of the theater «At the Nikitsky Gate», where he embodied many striking roles in such productions as «Anna Karenina. Lecture», «Hamlet» and «Doctor Chekhov». His talent was also recognized by Mark Zakharov, who invited the actor to the famous Lenkom Theater, where Yumatov continues to delight audiences with his performances.
