Description
Nina Usatova is an outstanding Soviet and Russian theater and film actress whose career spans several decades. Born on October 1, 1951 in the Mikhailovsky village council of the Altai Territory, she showed interest in art from a young age. In 1974, Nina entered the directing department of the B. V. Shchukin Theater School, which she successfully graduated from in 1979. Her film debut took place in 1981 with the role of a dressmaker in the television film "Where did Fomenko disappear?", but real fame came to her after the role of a mute in the film "Cold Summer of the Fifty-Third ...".
Since 1989, Nina Usatova became an artist of the RGABDT named after G. A. Tovstonogov, where she continued to develop her talent. During her career, she has received numerous prestigious awards, including the title of People's Artist of the Russian Federation in 1994, the State Prize of Russia in 2001, two Nika Awards in 1996 and 2000, as well as the Golden Eagle Awards in 2010 and 2014 and the Golden Mask in 2023.
