The Novosibirsk State Philharmonic, founded on January 1, 1937, is the largest concert organization in Russia. It has two main halls: the State Concert Hall named after A.M. Katz, located at 18/1 Krasny Prospekt, Novosibirsk, and the Chamber Hall of the Philharmonic at 32 Krasny Prospekt. In addition, the Philharmonic has a number of other venues in Novosibirsk and the region.

The key collective of the Philharmonic is the Novosibirsk Academic Symphony Orchestra, as well as 19 other groups that provide a variety of musical programs. The Philharmonic is actively involved in organizing touring projects and holding major international festivals, such as the International Christmas Arts Festival, the Trans-Siberian Art Festival, Sib Jazz Fest and the White Festival.
