The group "Ruki Vverh!" is preparing to perform a grand concert in St. Petersburg on October 18, 2025 at the Gazprom Arena
The band's history began in 1996 in Tolyatti, where Sergey Zhukov and Alexey Potekhin worked at the Europa Plus radio station. Experimenting with musical styles, they created several tracks that quickly became hits at local parties. Later, the band moved to Moscow, where they were noticed by producer Andrey Chernitsyn. Thanks to his support, the band signed a contract with the label and released their debut album, "Breathe Evenly."
During their existence, "Ruki Vverh!" have released many successful albums, such as "Turn It Up!", "Without Brake" and "When We Were Young." Their famous hits - "Kroshka Moya", "Student", "18 Mne Uzhe", "He Kisses You" and "Alyoshka" - continue to sound on radio stations and discos, evoking warm memories among fans.
The original lineup of the band included Sergey Zhukov, who was its frontman and vocalist, as well as Alexey Potekhin, who was responsible for the musical part. In 2006, the group broke up, but in 2010, Sergey Zhukov resumed performing under the brand "Ruki Vverh!", but without the participation of Potekhin. Now the group includes session musicians and dancers.
In 2021, Zhukov and Potekhin performed the song "He Kisses You" together for the TNT project "SamoIroniya Sudy". This gave rise to rumors about a possible reunion of the original lineup, but no official statements followed.
Alexey Potekhin created his own band called "Podnimaem Ruki Vverh" and continues to tour with a repertoire of original songs. Meanwhile, Sergey Zhukov is actively involved in advertising projects and continues to be a sought-after artist.
Tickets for the concert of the band "Ruki Vverh!" in St. Petersburg are already on sale. Don't miss your chance to get the best seats!
