On August 22, Kazan will become the center of the music world, when the first competitive day of the New Wave festival will begin on the stage of the New Wave Hall.
The New Wave festival has long established itself as a launching pad for many talented performers, including such famous names as Dima Bilan, Polina Gagarina, Sergey Lazarev and Nyusha. The competition program is always a fierce and exciting fight for the title of the best young artist. Participants demonstrate their vocal abilities and artistry, performing their own songs, sometimes even in their native languages. A jury of famous musicians, producers and critics evaluates the performances on many parameters: vocals, musicality, originality and stage image. Winners receive valuable prizes and opportunities for career growth.
The festival continues to develop and keep up with modern trends in the music industry. The organizers are not afraid to experiment with formats, invite new artists and expand the geography of participants and spectators. This year, the performers will again present hits from their countries. After the competition program, a creative evening of Larisa Dolina will take place. Her songs will be performed both by her and by guest stars - Stas Mikhailov, Philipp Kirkorov and other popular artists. The audience will also be able to enjoy the bright duets of the contestants with the stars, which will give young talents a unique opportunity to perform on the same stage with professionals.
"New Wave" remains one of the most significant musical events of the year, revealing new names to the world and leaving vivid impressions. Creative evenings after the competition days are a real gift for fans of popular music. Larisa Dolina is a regular participant of the festival; last year she performed in Sochi with her own song "Beating in Your Heart". However, her full concert at the festival will be held for the first time. Her unique vocal style covers jazz, pop, soul and classical elements, distinguishing her from many performers. Throughout her career, Dolina has boldly experimented with styles and does not strive to conform to standards, which makes her especially attractive to the public.
The opening ceremony of the festival will feature such stars as Philipp Kirkorov, Irina Allegrova, Nikolai Baskov, Lyusya Chebotina and other famous artists. Tickets for the creative evening of the first competition day are still available for sale - do not miss the chance to become part of this grand event!
