In August, Kazan will host the 21st festival called "New Wave", which will take place on the stage of the concert hall "New Wave Hall".
The idea of creating this international music event arose more than twenty years ago. The first years it was held in Jurmala. The founders of the festival were two talented musicians and composers: Igor Krutoy and Raimonds Pauls. Then for a long time the festival was held in Sochi, and this year it is expanding its horizons and will be held in Kazan. Tickets for "New Wave-2025" will give you an opportunity to meet new participants and meet superstars.
The festival serves as a platform for young talents who want to break into the music scene. Traditionally, the contestants perform for several days, and then the stars appear on stage. This year, the list of stars who will perform on the New Wave stage is already impressive: F. Kirkorov, N. Baskov, L. Chebotina, S. Mikhailov, A. Lorak, S. Lazarev, A. Chumakov, Pelageya, D. Bilan, Anna Asti, T. Kurtukova, Artik&Asti, Lolita, Alsou, S. Pavliashvili, L. Leshchenko, Nyusha, K. Moyton, and the list continues to grow with famous names.
The winners of the competition are determined by the total number of points earned by the participants over three days. In the previous season, the Crystal Wave statuettes were taken home by Anar Agayev, Khvicha Lukka and Anait Akopyan. The Audience Choice Award was awarded to the young Russian Denberel Oorzhak. The festival will start with a grand opening — a big gala concert.
