This summer Justin Timberlake will delight his fans in Tbilisi!
Justin Timberlake began his musical career as a member of the legendary band NSYNC. His charismatic performance and outstanding vocal abilities instantly won the hearts of millions. Even then, he was a co-author of the band's songs and its youngest member, because at that time he was only fourteen years old. In the late 90s and early 2000s, NSYNC conquered the music charts with hits, but over time, Justin felt the need to move beyond the boy band and pursue solo work.
In 2002, Timberlake released his first solo album, Justified, which demonstrated his maturity as an artist and his love for funk, soul and R&B. The album was warmly received by critics and became commercially successful, establishing him as an independent artist. The next album, Future Sex/Love Sounds, released in 2006, continued the successful streak with the addition of electronic sounds and catchy melodies.
Timberlake's music is a unique mix of pop, funk, soul, R&B and electronica. His flexible and emotional vocals are accompanied by lyrics about love, relationships and introspection. For example, the song "Cry me a river", released after his breakup with Britney Spears in 2002, talks about a broken heart.
Justin's style has evolved over time, while always remaining relevant. He is not afraid of experiments and innovative approaches, which is why he continues to be at the top of the music industry. For his contribution to modern pop music, he has earned the title of "the prince of popular music".
In 2024, his sixth album, Everything I Thought It Was, was released, returning to his pop roots with elements of R&B. Although reviews have been mixed, the album shows the artist's desire to evolve. Tracks like "Memphis" and "Fuckin' Up The Disco" feature signature pitch-shifting and auto-tune. Nostalgia for the 2000s is especially evident in "Memphis" and the opening track "Selfish." "My Favorite Drug" is a party-ready song that references Timberlake's early hit "Señorita."
Tickets for Justin Timberlake's show at Boris Paichadze Dynamo Arena are still available for purchase. Don't miss your chance to be a part of this event!
