Theatre of Nations in Moscow

The State Theatre of Nations, located in Petrovsky Lane in Moscow, is the country's leading drama theatre. Founded in 1987 on the initiative of the Union of Theatre Workers of the RSFSR, it was originally called the State Theatre of Friendship of Peoples. In 1992, the theatre received its current name, reflecting its multinational focus and cultural diversity.
