Although the plot sounds sad and dramatic, director Daniil Chashchin emphasizes that the goal of the play is not to frighten the audience with horrors, but to remind them that in difficult times, it is art and poetry that give people hope and meaning in life. Many viewers note the numerous references to the works of the Russian classic poet Anton Chekhov. Of particular interest are performances by renowned stage performers such as actor Veniamin Smekhov and actress Yulia Peresild, whom encounters have become rare in the modern theater scene.
