Closing ceremony of the international tournament "Friendship Games 2024" will take place on September 29 in Luzhniki. This tournament is part of the World Friendship Games, which will be held from September 15 to 29, 2024 in Yekaterinburg and Moscow. During the competition, competitions will be held in 33 summer sports, as well as exhibition tournaments in 2 sports.
The main part of the competition, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies, will take place in Moscow on the territory of the Luzhniki Stadium. This site will become the center of the planned cultural program of the Games. Hospitality houses for participating countries will be located here and other events will be held for guests and delegations.
Representatives of about 70 countries will take part in the tournament. The competition program will include 33 sports, including acrobatic rock and roll, badminton, basketball, boxing, wrestling, breaking, cycling, rowing slalom, karate, equestrianism, table tennis, padel, beach volleyball, beach soccer, jumping water, sambo, rock climbing, skateboarding, artistic gymnastics, sports programming, archery, triathlon, taekwondo, weightlifting, fencing, rhythmic gymnastics and chess.
The closing ceremony will take place at the large sports arena of the Luzhniki Olympic complex. This stadium is the largest in Eastern Europe and is among the top ten largest football stadiums in Europe.
