Russian Song Theater invites viewers to the musical performance "The Night Before Christmas", staged based on the story by Nikolai Gogol. Author of the idea and artistic director of the theater — People's Artist of Russia Nadezhda Babkina. The director was Nina Chusova, the musical editing and original music were created by Mikhail Bronner. The production designer is Honored Artist of Russia Pavel Kaplevich, choreographer — Honored Artist of Russia Nikolai Androsov. Choirmasters Natalya Volgina and Pyotr Klyuchnikov also made a significant contribution to the creation of the performance.
The play “The Night Before Christmas” is a bright and dynamic theatrical performance, which involves the vocal ensemble "Russian Song", the dance ensemble "Russian Seasons" and the ballet "Living Planet". The main roles are played by People's Artist of Russia Nadezhda Babkina (Solokha, Tsarina), Honored Artist of Russia Viktor Dobronravov / Gleb Matveychuk (Kuznets Vakula), Alexander Nosik / Oscar Kuchera (Chub), Svetlana Rasskazova (Oksana), Alexander Varnaev (Dyak Osip Nikiforovich), Pavel Arlamov (Panas), Sergey Astakhov / Yuri Kataev (Devil) and Dmitry Morozov (Golova).
