Grand Cancan in Moscow, Operetta Theater

90 years after the founding of the Moscow Operetta Theater, audiences continue to inspire the theater’s creative troupe to create new masterpieces. So, after the anniversary concert, which was received very successfully by the audience, the artists did not stop there and decided to create an updated version of the play “Grand Cancan,” which has been in the theater’s repertoire for several years. The production was directed by Honored Artist of Russia Inara Guliyeva. Some of the numbers were borrowed from the anniversary concert, which were supplemented with completely new fragments of world operas and musicals. The performance involves both artists already familiar to the audience and young actors recently accepted into the theater troupe.
