Description

The Ice Palace of Saint Petersburg is a unique sports and concert complex located in the historical district of Vesyoliy Posyolok. Since its opening in 2000, it has become one of the key venues for various events, including sports competitions, music concerts, exhibitions and conferences.

The main arena of the Ice Palace can accommodate up to 12,300 spectators and can be transformed depending on the type of event. This flexibility allows the venue to host both large-scale sports events and concerts of world stars. The arena was built specifically for the 2000 IIHF World Championship, which emphasizes its importance and high standards.

The construction of the complex lasted two years, from 1998 to 2000, and cost $60 million. The first match at the new arena took place in April 2000. Since then, the Ice Palace has become home to many significant events, including games of the St. Petersburg hockey club SKA until 2024 and concerts of famous performers. It is interesting that in 2000, a video for the song "Begi, Begi" by the group "Ivanushki International" was filmed on the territory of the complex.

The Ice Palace of St. Petersburg is not just a place for events, it is the center of the cultural and sports life of the city. The schedule and poster of upcoming events can be found on our website. Here you can buy tickets for the events you are interested in.
