The great Maxim Fedotov once again pleases fans of classical music with an exceptional performance. On January 11, 2024, he will present a program that will immerse listeners in the wonderful world of music.
Maxim Fedotov and Honored Artist of Russia Galina Petrova will present a duet program in the Small Hall of the D.D. Shostakovich Philharmonic Hall, which includes works by great composers. Schubert will amaze listeners with his duet for violin and piano in A major, and Beethoven will delight with a work – Sonata No. 10 for violin and piano. Stravinsky, in turn, will present a beautiful Italian suite for violin and piano, reviews of which consider the performance to be crystal clear and baroque delightful. Fragments from the cycle "Pictures from the exhibition" by Mussorgsky–Isakova will be the bright final notes of this fantastic event.
Maxim Fedotov and Galina Petrova are not just musicians, they are virtuosos of their craft. Their close-knit and well-coordinated duo has existed for more than a quarter of a century and is considered one of the most harmonious ensembles of our time. Their cooperation with leading orchestras, conductors and soloists only confirms their high skill and professionalism.
