Great Hall of the Shostakovich Philharmonic
Concert by Jean Nouvel-Halou «Organ Evening» will take place at the Philharmonic. Shostakovich. Jean Nouvel-Halou, laureate of the XIII International Organ Competition named after M. L. Tariverdiev, will present a varied program, including works by composers such as I.S. Bach, Marchand, Franck, Debussy, Dukas, Vierne and Tariverdiev. The event will be hosted by Vera Tariverdieva.
The concert program includes such works as Prelude in E-flat major by J.S. Bach, Tierce en taille and Grand Dialogue by Marchand, Prelude, Fugue and Variation by Franck, as well as «Styrian Tarantella» and Arabesque No. 1 by Debussy, transcribed for organ. In addition, «The Sorcerer’s Apprentice» will be performed. Duka, Scherzo and Finale from Vierne's Symphony No. 2 for organ and Tariverdiev's Chorale Prelude.
