In Munich, she worked for Radio Liberty, where she wrote her famous novel revealing the lives of Soviet women. In the late 90s, Yulia Voznesenskaya became a worker in a convent in France, and since 2002 she has lived in Berlin, where, despite a serious illness, she created and edited the websites "You will Win" and "Memorials", helping people cope with loss and avoid suicide.
