The play "Little Tragedies" at the A.A. Bryantsev Theater for Young Spectators invites viewers to immerse themselves in the world of classical Russian drama, reviving the works of A.S. Pushkin on stage. This cycle of short plays, including "The Miserly Knight", "Mozart and Salieri", "The Stone Guest" and "Feast during the Plague", acquires a new sound thanks to the direction of Ruslan Kudashov. The winner of prestigious theater awards, he creates a production that combines tradition and innovation.

On the stage of the Theater, known for its experimental approaches to classics, the audience will see a masterfully recreated space of tragedy. The artist Nikolai Slobodyanik, a student of Eduard Kochergin, creates decorations that enhance the drama of what is happening. Vladimir Bychkovsky's musical arrangement adds depth and helps to draw parallels with modernity.

The play explores the eternal themes of human passions and vices, revealing them through images that are embodied by both experienced artists and young talents. This allows viewers to see in Pushkin's characters a reflection of their own experiences and issues that are relevant at any time.

The premiere of the play took place in 2015 at the XXIII Pushkin Theater Festival in Pskov and has continued to attract public attention since then. For the role of the Baron in this production, People's Artist of Russia Nikolai Nikolaevich Ivanov was awarded a Diploma by the Governor of St. Petersburg.
