The play «Tomorrow Was the War» at the Baltic House Theatre-Festival is a touching story about schoolchildren standing on the threshold of adulthood in the pre-war years. Based on the work by Boris Vasiliev, the play takes viewers to 1940, when young people face their first serious trials and moral choices. They fall in love, argue with their parents and teachers, and learn to forgive despite the impending tragedy.
The third-year students of the Moscow Art Theatre School under the direction of Evgeny Pisarev perform on stage. Their performance impresses with its sincerity and emotional depth, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of involvement in what is happening. A live orchestra and musical inserts enhance the drama and immerse the audience in the atmosphere of that era.
