Performers: Irina Koro, Ilya Goncharov.

The performance "About the perishable, perishable and beautiful life" at the V.F. Komissarzhevskaya Theater invites viewers to plunge into the world of poetry and prose of Anna Akhmatova. This is a unique theatrical event, where the audience will see a living image of the great poetess through her poems, autobiographical prose and musical works.

The performance is based on lines from Akhmatova's poem "I have learned to live simply wisely ...", which became one of her first known works and was included in her second book "Rosary" in 1914. It was this work that brought Akhmatova all-Russian fame and secured her place among the leading poets of Russia. Critic and poet N. V. Nedobrovo noted in his article in Russkaya Mysl (1915, No. 7) that Akhmatova's poetry has a "lyrical soul that is rather harsh than soft, rather cruel than tearful, and clearly dominant rather than oppressed."

The performance will feature songs and romances based on Akhmatova's poems performed by laureates of All-Russian and international competitions and festivals: Irina Koro (vocals, guitar, artistic word; author of the script and music) and Ilya Goncharov (piano improvisations; composer, pianist, arranger). The music, the finest "lace" of piano improvisations, will reveal the full depth and diversity of the poet's feelings and experiences.

The V.F. Komissarzhevskoy, known for its high-quality productions, provides a cozy and atmospheric venue for this event. Spectators will be able to enjoy not only an outstanding performance, but also be imbued with the spirit of the times in which Akhmatova lived and worked.
