Quok (real name - Vladimir Sorokin) was born in St. Petersburg, but as a child he moved to the Czech Republic, where he began his musical journey. Already in his youth, he mastered the bass guitar and was inspired by the work of such artists as Aphex Twin and $uicideboy$. The beginning of his musical career can be attributed to the period of life in Prague, where he collaborated with musicians from the Czech Republic, America and Russia, wrote electronics and created videos.
Kuok's first mini-album "Waves of Survival" was released in 2014 and consisted of three tracks. Although the album did not receive much success, this did not stop the artist. He soon switched to rap and began writing beats for Russian artists, and then began rapping himself. Kuok gained wide fame in 2019 after the release of the track "Budka", recorded with Soda Luv and other artists. The song became a hit, and the album "Decadance 2" cemented the musician's success.
In the following years, Kuok released the albums "Krasnost" and "Imago", the latter of which critics called one of the best albums of the year for its unique combination of rap and electronics.
