About event
The festival "Small about the Big" at the Lensovet Theatre invites you to the play "To Madrid, to Madrid", staged by director Lev Ehrenburg based on the play by Juan José Alonso Millán. This play, which has become the calling card of the Small Drama Theatre, promises to surprise the audience with its unpredictability and originality.
A story full of black humor and absurdity will unfold on stage, where a paralyzed Spanish woman, Adela, and her daughter Laura attempt to poison their 92-year-old grandfather. However, their plans are disrupted by the arrival of their nephew Enrique and his mistress Marta, in whose suitcase jewelry and a dismembered husband are hidden. Funny and at the same time creepy situations, brought to the point of grotesque, create a unique atmosphere in which reality and absurdity are intertwined in the most unexpected way.
The performance features talented actors: Olga Albanova, Tatyana Ryabokon, Helena Filippova, Sergey Umanov, Evgeny Karpov, Anna Shelpyakova, Maria Semenova, Vyacheslav Skvirsky and Alexander Kharitonenko.
The festival "Small about the Big" offers a unique opportunity to see this performance on the small stage of the Lensovet Theater. This stage has a special meaning for the Small Drama Theater, because this is where its history began.
