In the year of the 225th anniversary of A. S. Pushkin's birthday, the G. A. Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theater presents to the audience a unique production of two plays from the cycle "Little Tragedies". Young directors Arseny Meshcheryakov and Arseny Bekhterev, graduates of the directing workshop of Andrei Moguchy, offer a new reading of the classic works "The Stone Guest" and "Feast in Time of Plague".

A. S. Pushkin called his short plays "experiments in dramatic studies", and it was this approach that inspired the directors to create performances that reveal the theme of the "fatal feast". In "The Stone Guest", viewers will see a tragic story about love and death, where the main characters are Don Juan and the statue of the Commander. "A Feast During the Plague" takes viewers to a plague-stricken city, where residents throw a feast, trying to forget themselves in the shadow of impending doom.
