Concert “From romance to jazz. D. Goloshchekin" will take place in the State Academic Chapel. The event will combine ancient Russian romances and jazz classics performed by Yulia Kasyan and an ensemble led by People's Artist of Russia David Goloshchekin. Yulia Kasyan — winner of numerous awards and international competitions, known for her performances at jazz festivals and the Philharmonic of Jazz Music.
The State Academic Chapel, founded in 1479, is one of the oldest musical institutions in Russia. The Chapel Hall is renowned for its excellent acoustics and historical significance, making it an ideal venue for high-level concerts. Concerts of classical and modern music regularly take place here, attracting the attention of both locals and tourists.
David Goloshchekin — one of the most respected jazz musicians in Russia, whose career spans more than 45 years. His ensemble, which has existed since 1968, is known not only in Russia, but also abroad. Goloshchekin is also the founder and musical director of the International Jazz Festival “White Night Swing”, as well as the author of numerous radio programs about jazz.
The concert will feature both ancient Russian romances and jazz compositions. Yulia Kasyan, who has a unique vocal talent, together with the David Goloshchekin ensemble will create a unique atmosphere, combining tradition and modernity. Yulia Kasyan's permanent partner is pianist Nikolai Sizov, whose skill will add a special flavor to the performance.
