The Gomel Regional Drama Theater from Belarus will present this performance based on one of the “Little Tragedies” Pushkin – "Mozart and Salieri". Director and author of the dramatization – R. Gabria. The plot of the play tells about rivalry and talent: composer Salieri achieves success through work and perseverance, but cannot reach the heights of the brilliant Mozart. There is a temptation to remove a virtuoso opponent from the path. The second storyline is Pushkin’s meeting with Emperor Nicholas I, which will become a turning point in the poet’s fate.

Producing director Roman Gabria notes that working on the play brings special professional experience. The balancing act between reality and fiction in the poet’s imagination serves as the basis for the special play genre of the play.

The performance was recognized as the winner in the “Best Performance” nominations. and "Best Actress" at the XV International Festival "Slavic Theater Meetings".
