"Au" is an inclusive laboratory performance that continues the BDT tradition of supporting people with special needs. The theater began this important work back in 2015, including in its repertoire an inclusive production based on the poem by the 12th-century Persian author Farid ad-Din Attar "The Language of Birds". In the performance "Au", birds again become central characters, symbolizing will, affection, loneliness and unity.

Special actors tell the story of the old bird catcher in their own "bird" language, which allows for a deeper expression of emotions and thoughts on the themes of indifference and love. This language helps actors with ASD to better convey their feelings and experiences, creating a unique theatrical experience for the audience.
