You can buy tickets for the play "Uncle Vanya" at the St. Petersburg theater Russian Enterprise named after Andrei Mironov now! One of A.P. Chekhov, written in 1896, comes to life again on stage under the direction of Alexei Morozov.
In this performance, the creators restore the history of a noble family, whose harmony was destroyed, and the world was divided into separate "elements". The artistic solution of the performance lies in the clash of two worlds - human feelings and the world "beyond the threshold". The scenery, created by the artist Gala Filatova, resembles an exposition of a modern museum, where the characters of the performance are enclosed in glass cubes. This symbolizes their beauty and inaccessibility.
The performance preserves the tradition of family dinners and tea parties, which are reminiscent of antique furniture and porcelain dishes, also enclosed in glass capsules. The entire performance is permeated with subtle hints of disorganization and uncertainty. Each character has his own song, which connects Chekhov's word with the poetry of today.
Why do we return again and again to the experiences of these people who have gone into the past? Perhaps because each of us wants to cling to a past happy life, but in the modern world this seems difficult. The play "Uncle Vanya" makes you think about what is worth holding on to and grabbing in our modern world.
Don't miss the opportunity to plunge into the world of Uncle Vanya on the stage of the St. Petersburg theater Russian Enterprise named after Andrei Mironov.
