Marat Firdusovich Mingazov, better known by his stage name Sqwoz Bab, is a Russian comedy rapper born on November 21, 1994 in Yoshkar-Ola. His musical career began at a young age: he began writing his first lyrics at the age of 13. In 2012, while still in the 11th grade, Marat founded the band Sqwoz Bab with his friend Igor Tsaregorodtsev. Both entered the Moscow State Pedagogical University in the Faculty of Philology, but Marat's creative path soon took precedence over his academic career.

After Igor left the band in 2015, Marat continued his solo career and released his first track, "Pocket Kazakh," which became a local hit. Between 2015 and 2017, he was actively involved in graphic design and founded the clothing brand "Fatalist."
