Meet Alexandra Trofimchuk, an outstanding ballerina who has captivated audiences with her skill and grace. She is the Principal Dancer of the Mikhailovsky Theatre, a testament to her exceptional talent and professionalism. Alexandra began her career in ballet at the Kyiv State Choreographic School, where she studied under Marina Yulievna Dobryakova. In 2021, she completed her studies at the Ballet Academy at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts, marking a significant milestone in her career.
Alexandra Trofimchuk is a laureate of numerous prestigious international competitions. Her achievements include First Prize at the Ave Bohemia International Competition in Prague and Third Prize at the Mysl-Potok Competition in Kyiv. In 2021, she was awarded the Deutsches Stipendium for her contribution to the arts.
Since joining the Mikhailovsky Theatre Ballet Company in 2021, Alexandra has quickly risen through the ranks, becoming the theatre's first dancer in 2025. Her performances are distinguished not only by technical perfection but also by profound emotional expressiveness.
