Sergei Potapov is a talented dramatic artist whose work captivates audiences with its emotional depth and versatility. From an early age, Sergei showed an interest in the arts, beginning his career with dance classes at the Ostankino Children's Ballet. His professional career began at the Maly Theater, where he debuted as Andrei Titych, for which he received the prestigious Moscow Debuts Award.

Potapov is known for his unique ability to bring vibrant and impetuous characters full of energy and vitality to the stage. His memorable roles include Grisha Razlyulyaev in "Poverty Is No Vice," Tognino in "Lovers," and Truffaldino in "The Servant of Two Masters." Each of Sergei's performances is a true spectacle, where commedia dell'arte meets dramatic art.

His performance in Gorky's "Children of the Sun," where he played Misha, a complex and contradictory character, deserves special attention. Potapov masterfully conveyed every nuance of the character's personality, capturing his emotional deafness and heartlessness.

Sergey Potapov doesn't limit himself to acting alone. In 2016, he debuted as a director with the production of "A Streetcar Named Desire," demonstrating his multifaceted talent and passion for experimentation.
