Saul Alvarez

Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, famous Mexican professional boxer, was born on July 18, 1990 in Guadalajara, Mexico. He successfully competes in several weight categories: welterweight (up to 66.68 kg), first middleweight (up to 69.85 kg), middleweight (up to 72.57 kg), second middleweight (up to 76.2 kg) and light heavyweight (up to 79.4 kg). In the period from 2019 to 2022, Alvarez was recognized as the best boxer in the world, regardless of category, by The Ring magazine and was twice awarded the title of "Boxer of the Year" by the same publication in 2019 and 2021.
