Anatoly Kot is an outstanding actor whose career in theater, cinema and voice acting spans many decades and countries. Born on June 5, 1973 in Minsk, he has won recognition thanks to his striking roles in a wide variety of genres. He first attracted serious attention from critics in 2003, playing Prince Vladimir Drutsky in the historical film Anastasia Slutskaya. That same year, he starred in the war drama Occupation. Mysteries, which caused a sensation and was banned from showing in Belarus.
In Russia, Anatoly Kot became famous thanks to his role as Lieutenant Colonel Shkalin in the popular comedy series Soldiers. His participation in such projects as Molodezhka and Accelerated Assistance also became a significant event in his career. From 2005 to 2022, Anatoly was part of the troupe of the Moscow Drama Theater under the direction of Armen Dzhigarkhanyan. Then he moved to the Satire Theater, and since 2023 he has been performing on the stage of the Moscow Art Theater named after A.P. Chekhov. In 2021, his merits were recognized by awarding him the title of Honorary Artist of the City of Moscow, which emphasized his contribution to the development of the theater.
