Kai Metov

Kairat Metov, better known as Kai Metov, is a Russian singer and composer who rose to fame on the pop stage. His musical education began at the Central Music School at the Moscow State Conservatory, where he studied violin.

After serving in the army, where he first participated in and then led the vocal and instrumental ensemble "Molodost", Metov began to actively develop his career in the music field. He performed in various musical groups as a soloist and instrumentalist, while simultaneously mastering the skills of sound engineering and arranging. In 1991, he recorded his first songs, which quickly gained popularity. Real success came in 1993 with the release of his first album "Position №2", the main song of which became a hit.

In 2003, Kai Metov showed himself not only as a performer, but also as a composer, writing the song "Tea Rose" for Masha Rasputina and Philipp Kirkorov, which gained wide popularity.

In 2015, his contribution to art was recognized with the title of Honored Artist of Russia.

Today, Kai Metov remains a sought-after and recognizable artist, continuing to perform on stage, participate in various projects and create new music.
