His musical path began with the groups "Zakat Solntsa Ruchno" and "Postscriptum (P.S.)", but he gained real fame with "Brigada S", created in 1986 together with Sergey Galanin. Under the leadership of Stas Namin, the group quickly gained popularity, performing at major festivals and touring outside the USSR. After the breakup of "Brigada S", Sukachev founded "Nepriksaemye" and also successfully developed a solo career.
