musicAeterna is a unique Russian orchestra that is gaining more and more popularity every year. Their creative possibilities cover ancient music, academic classics and modern works.

The orchestra was founded by Theodor Currentzis in 2004 in Novosibirsk and was part of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre from 2011 to 2019. Since 2019, musicAeterna has become an independent band that receives funding from sponsors. Their creative residence was the Radio House in St. Petersburg.

Together with Theodor Currentzis, musicAeterna regularly tours throughout Russia and the world, performing at the most prestigious concert venues such as the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Berlin and Elbe Philharmonic, the National Concert Hall of Madrid, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory and the Zaryadye Hall.
