MusicAeterna is a unique Russian orchestra that is gaining more and more popularity every year. Their creative capabilities cover early music, academic classics and modern works.

The orchestra was founded by Teodor Currentzis in 2004 in Novosibirsk and from 2011 to 2019 was part of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre. Since 2019, musicAeterna has become an independent group that receives funding from sponsors. Their creative residence has become the House of Radio in St. Petersburg.

Together with Teodor Currentzis, musicAeterna regularly tours throughout Russia and the world, performing at the most prestigious concert venues such as the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Berlin and Elbphilharmonics, the National Concert Hall of Madrid, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory and the Zaryadye Hall.
