Description
Shakhtyor is a seven-time champion of the Republic of Belarus and one of the most successful clubs in the country. The volleyball team has received sponsorship support from JSC Trest Shakhtospetsstroy since 1999, which has allowed it to achieve significant success.
In 2017, the team took first place in the Belarusian Volleyball Championship under the leadership of head coach Viktor Ivanovich Beksha. In addition, the team became five-time winners of the Cup of the Republic of Belarus and the Super Cup of the Republic of Belarus.
On the international arena, they took part in prestigious competitions such as the CEV Cup and the CEV Challenge Cup. In the upcoming season, under the leadership of coach Viktor Ivanovich Beksha, the team will perform with an updated roster, which will include talented legionnaires from Cuba, Serbia and Russia.
