Harry Topor — is the stage name of Igor Alexandrov, a talented rap artist and marketer with knowledge of three foreign languages. His unique style and aggressive rapping have made him one of the most recognizable faces in the Russian rap community. Igor began composing texts and rhyming lines in his first year at the institute, and it was then that the pseudonym Harry Topor appeared. According to one version, he named himself after the character in the Guy Ritchie film, and according to another — Harry is the interpretation of the name Igor, and “axe” — this is a nickname from childhood.

Harry Topor's first mixtape “Postulates of Fury” was released in 2008 and included 15 compositions. His performance is distinguished by aggression and emotionality. In 2009, the album “My Enemy” was released, which strengthened his position on the rap scene. In 2010, Harry released the mixtape “Echoes of War,” dedicated to the fight against internal demons. In 2013, the album “Anatomical Theater” was released, which included both solo tracks and collaborations with other rappers.

 

Together with Tony Routh, Harry released the album “OS Country” in 2014. The friends also participated in the recording of Oksimiron’s track (by decision of the Russian Ministry of Justice he was included in the list of individuals-foreign agents), for which a video was released. Despite his active musical activity, Harry continued to work as a marketer, declaring that music was for him — this is my favorite hobby.

 

Harry Topor and Tony Routh not only gave concerts, but also opened an online store for youth clothing, where they sold merchandise with their pseudonyms and song titles. In 2018, the musicians celebrated 10 years of collaboration with a big concert at the Arbat Hall club in Moscow.
