Robert Plaudis, known under the pseudonym Platina, is an outstanding Latvian hip-hop artist, born on April 19, 1995 in Riga. Platinum has earned recognition for his unique style, mastery of adlibs, slang and crazy punchlines. The founder of the creative association "RNB Club", Platina is one of the key figures on the modern hip-hop scene.
Platinum's second studio album, "Sweet Dreams", released on October 25, 2018 in collaboration with OG Buda, received high praise from critics. The album, which also features Lil Krystall and Feduk, was described by hip-hop portal The Flow as “very relaxed and melodic trap with a heavy R&B leaning.”
The third studio album, Opiates Circle, was released on October 21, 2019 and included tracks from artists such as Plohoyparen, MellowBite, Lil Krystall, Obladaet, 104, White Punk and Feduk. The Flow described the album as "melodic Youngtag minimalist trap, sort of boastful, but also filled with angst." The album took 22nd position in the list of “50 domestic albums of 2019”. according to The Flow.
Platinum's fourth studio album, "Sosa Muzik", was released on August 13, 2021. The album includes the singles “On the dirty (Diana)” and “Heart for Sluts,” as well as tracks featuring Lil Van, Plohoyparen, Big Baby Tape, OG Buda and Mayot. The album topped the Apple Music chart and took second position on the VKontakte album chart. Platinum reads about money, work, friends and frivolous relationships, inspired by the style of Playboi Carti.
