Ivan Bessonov — an outstanding Russian pianist whose name is known far beyond the borders of his native country. Winner of the international competition for young musicians Eurovision 2018, he won the hearts of listeners with his virtuoso playing and deep understanding of music. His creative path is filled with numerous victories and awards, including the Grand Prix of the International Youth Competition named after F. Chopin (St. Petersburg, 2015), laureate at the International Competition named after. A. Rubinstein “Piano miniature in Russian music” (St. Petersburg, 2016), as well as victories at the Grand Piano Competition (Moscow, 2016 and 2018) and Astana piano-passion (Astana, 2017).

Ivan Bessonov — the first Russian musician to win the Classic Eurovision Song Contest (Eurovision Young Musicians 2018) in Edinburgh, Scotland. In March 2019, he received the international music award "BraVo" in the “Discovery of the Year” nomination, and also released his first disc under the “Ars Production” label, including works by F. Chopin and his own compositions. In December 2021, Ivan was awarded the Russian National Music Prize "Victoria" in the category "Discovery of the Year in Classical Music".

Ivan Bessonov actively tours, giving solo concerts in Russia and abroad, including countries such as Austria, Germany, Italy and others. He collaborates with leading world conductors such as Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Spivakov and Alexander Sladkovsky. In 2016, Ivan presented a solo program on the stage of the Mariinsky Theater, and in 2019 — in the large hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic.
