Youth hockey club "Loko" – This is a bright and ambitious team, which is a structural division of HC Lokomotiv. It was founded in 2009 on the basis of the Lokomotiv-2 farm club. and since then has established itself as one of the strongest and most promising teams in the Youth Hockey League.
Under the leadership of head coach Yaroslav Lyzenkov, Loko demonstrates a high level of play and constant progress. The team plays its home matches at the UKRK Arena-2000, which seats up to 9 thousand spectators. Other ice rinks are also used, such as the Torpedo Sports Palace and them. S.A. Nikolaev and MFSC "Lokomotiv".
Lokomotiv youth team is a regular participant in all MHL championships and only missed the playoffs once. The team has an impressive list of achievements, including a bronze medal at the tournament in 2015, three gold medals and the Kharlamov Cup, and a silver medal in 2021.
One of the brightest moments in the history of the club was its participation in the World Cup among youth club teams in the 2015/16 season. "Loko" won the final over Nizhnekamsk "Reactor" and took the main trophy. In addition, the team won the World Cup twice – in 2018 and 2019.
Youth hockey club "Loko" also boasts an impressive list of awards from off-season tournaments such as the P.I. Memorial. Belyaeva, DEL Junior Cup-2017, Cups N.E. Maslov and the Governor of the Tula region.
