BC Nizhny Novgorod

Basketball club "Pari Nizhny Novgorod" is the pride of Russian basketball, founded in 2000 on the basis of the Volga Engineering Pedagogical Institute (VIPI). The club participates in prestigious competitions such as the VTB United League and the Russian Cup, demonstrating high results and professionalism.

One of the significant achievements of the club was the victory in the qualifying round of the EuroChallenge 2010/2011, which allowed the team to reach the group stage. In the same season, Nizhny Novgorod for the first time in its history took part in the "Final Four" of the Russian Cup, winning silver medals. Two players of the club, Artem Yakovenko and Dmitry Kulagin, entered the symbolic five of the tournament.

With each season, BC "Nizhny Novgorod" improves its positions. In the 2011/2012 season, the club participated in the Last-16 stage of the Challenge Cup, and reached the 1/8 finals of the VTB United League. In the 2012/2013 season, the team reached the playoffs of the VTB United League, beating Spartak in five matches. In the 2013/2014 season, the club debuted in the Eurocup and reached the semi-finals, losing only to the Spanish Valencia.

In the 2014/2015 season, BC Nizhny Novgorod debuted in the Euroleague and immediately reached the TOP-16 of the tournament, which was a significant achievement for the team. These successes confirm the high level of preparation and the club's desire to reach new heights.
