BC Yenisei

BC Enisey is a Russian men's basketball club from Krasnoyarsk, which takes part in the VTB United League. The club was founded in 1981 on the basis of the Krasnoyarsk Polytechnic Institute and was originally called "Polytechnic".

During its existence, BC Enisey has become the owner of several well-deserved achievements, but it was not without obstacles. During the Soviet era, the team played in the lower leagues, but managed to win the 1988 USSR Cup in Siberia and the Far East.

After the collapse of the USSR, BC Enisey was unable to gain a foothold in the most prestigious leagues and for several years played in the lower divisions of the Russian championship. However, in the 1996/1997 season the team returned to Super League A, the strongest league in Russia, although it did not spend a long time there and was sent to Super League B.

In 2007, BC Enisey regained its dominance, winning the championship in Super League B and regaining its place among the elite of Russian basketball. The club is currently reaching new heights as one of the strongest participants in the VTB United League.
